Even though the NPCs should beat you, you’ll still earn a ridiculous number of credits and XP for completing the race. This will essentially allow your car to drive itself, all the way through the Goliath race. In the Settings, set your difficulties to the following: Make sure your car stays on the road, and the game will complete the race for you. Enter it with any car you’d like (although, you should want to use your fastest car for fast farming). To set up the Goliath Glitch, you’ll need to progress through the story and unlock the Goliath Race.

Having said this, if the game dev's had some way to prove you were not at your computer while the throttle was being activated they could probably twist the rules in some manner and ban you for "playing the game in a way it was not intended." I see no effect on me no matter how many Goliath laps you run while sleeping. For many other games, AFK macros are not allowed because they can affect how you interact with other players & give you an unfair advantage. Even if you are AFK with the throttle taped down I cannot find a rule that says this is not allowed. I looked over the FH5 Terms of Service and there is nothing really covering this that could lead to a ban.
Then it’s fair game, but until then if they started banning people it would be the death of their companies image, and PG isn’t the type to do this (most game devs that have ever acted like this that I know their games died fairly quickly). The exception to this would be if they sent out a message telling everyone they don’t allow it, and they’re gonna ban people. Just because the devs failed to have the oversight to implement a feature that’s exploitable doesn’t mean players have to take the morale high road, and not do it.
A feature that is 100% meant to be done that people just found a way to take advantage of it isn’t (I.E. The only way they can ban you is if you’re doing something that isn’t supposed to be possible normally in the game (I.E. Going around banning people because you “assume” their cheating is a PR disaster waiting to happen. Sure, one can assume that no one would do that for 9+ hours straight, but they literally can not prove you did or didn’t do that as well. They literally could not tell the difference between someone putting a rubber band on their controller or a person sitting there holding the right trigger the whole time.
The most they would do is remove what you earned (which would be nearly impossible in this case). They can’t ban you for an exploit that is 100% a game feature.
